2026 is our 99th Stewart reunion and next year will be our 100th. The current reunion executive are fully committed to seeing us to our 100th anniversary reunion event in 2027, in it’s current form.

For the next two years, 2026 and 2027, we will also have a presence at the Ailsa Craig Highland Games and Scottish Festival, in addition to our in-person reunions at the East Williams Optimist Park Pavilion.

Our presence at the Ailsa Craig Highland Games and Scottish Festival in 2026 and 2027 is expected to consist of a table at the Thistle Market displaying our Stewart family history in the region.

For 2028, our presence at the Ailsa Craig Highland Games and Scottish Festival in expected to be our only annual reunion activity.

Check out the Games and Festival’s website at ailsacraighighlandgames.ca

Reunion Business …

what we’re currently spending our money on …

  • facility rental
  • pot-luck lunch supplies
  • prizes for attendees (oldest, youngest, most plaid, furthest traveled, etc.)
  • reunion invitation postal mail-out (stamps, envelopes, paper, printing, etc.)
  • www.stewartreunion.ca hosting fees  (the reunion website)
  • www.myheritage.com hosting fees  (the genealogy website)
  • family history table at the Thistle Market (Ailsa Craig Highland Games and Scottish Festival)
  • supporting our history, planting memorial trees, donating to our local heritage society

we are supported solely by donations, passing the hat at reunions and from individual donors,

attendance is fading, but we still need to pay the bills …

our largest expenses currently, are:

  • myheritage.com  (for genealogy website hosting)
  • stewartreunion.ca  (for reunion website hosting)
